An urgent search is underway with a ‘call 999’ alert issued after a teenage girl was reported missing. Katie-Lou Berry, 15, was last seen on Friday (May 8) at around 6.10pm close to the Botanic Gardens.
Merseyside Police said enquiries are ongoing to find her, with a photo of the teenager issued as part of the public appeal. She is described as being 5ft 6in tall, with long brown hair and of slim build.
She has a nose piercing and speaks with a Bolton accent. When last seen, she was wearing a pink vest top, black leggings, black fur jacket, and white Nike Air Max trainers.

Merseyside Police said Katie-Lou often visits Southport, Bootle, Liverpool and the Farnworth area of Bolton. Anyone with information is being urged to contact police immediately.
Greater Manchester Police also shared the public appeal. A statement added: “If you see Katie-Lou please call 999 immediately so we can make sure she is safe.
