The independent brewery will open The Hop Pole at 7 Albion Buildings on Thursday 14th May, marking the first time the company has operated a pub in Bath.
The opening comes just ahead of Party in the City on 15th May, placing the new venue in the middle of one of Bath’s busiest cultural weekends.
Good Chemistry Brewing said the pub will bring its established approach to beer and hospitality from Bristol into Bath, with a focus on quality drinks, a relaxed setting and a community feel.
The Hop Pole is expected to centre its offer around a rotating range of Good Chemistry beers, alongside guest pours.
A daily happy hour will also form a key part of the launch offer, running from 4pm to 8pm seven days a week, with customers able to buy four pints for £10.
Managing director Mark Armstrong said: “Opening our first pub is a huge step for us. We’ve always been about creating spaces where people can come together over great beer, and The Hop Pole is the natural next evolution of that.
“Bath felt like the perfect place to do it – it’s a city with an amazing hospitality scene and a real appreciation for quality. We’re excited to become part of that.”
The brewery said the combination of a central location, the timing of the launch and the venue’s drinks offer should help establish The Hop Pole quickly within Bath’s pub scene.
