‘Our son. Our sun. Happy 6th birthday to Archie!’ wrote the Duchess on 6 May. ‘Thank you for all of the love, prayers, and warm wishes for our sweet boy. He’s six! Where did the time go?’
Meghan then revealed that the family had already celebrated Archie’s birthday ahead of his big day, likely so that Prince Harry could be in attendance – the young Prince’s actual birthday sits on 6 May, when Harry was in Las Vegas working with The Diana Project.
‘(And for all of you who came to celebrate with us at his party last weekend, thank you for making his birthday so incredibly special)’ the Duchess wrote, concluding with a love heart emoji.

The couple also made a sweet nod to their children while dancing the night away at Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles last weekend. A longtime fan of the singer, Meghan created a custom cowboy hat for the ‘very fun fate night’, one that was laden with touching Easter eggs referencing her family. The underside of the piece was decorated with the flags of Britain and the United States, in reference to Lilibet and Archie’s dual heritage, as well as the flag of California to represent their home. The outline of Africa symbolised the work that Meghan and Harry continue to undertake on the continent, and the hat was also adorned with the words ‘Archie’, ‘Lili’, and ‘my love’. Princess Lilibet, or ‘Lili’, was named after the royal family’s nickname for the late Queen Elizabeth.
