A 50-year-old man has appeared in court charged with murdering another man, who was found dead in a garden on top of a block of flats.
Nigel Lubban, of no fixed abode, was arrested in the West Midlands area on Friday and appeared at Bristol Magistrates’ Court earlier.
Avon and Somerset Police said Anthony Clemmings, 54, who was known as Tony, was found dead in a rooftop garden on Redcliff Street in Bristol at about 08:20 BST on Tuesday.
Lubban, who is yet to enter a plea, was remanded in custody and will appear at Bristol Crown Court on Tuesday when he will be considered for bail.
