Hundreds of participants from Bristol Bears Foundation programmes took to the pitch at Ashton Gate during half-time of Bristol Bears vs Saracens to celebrate Community Day.

The annual Community Day fixture showcased the life-changing work of the club’s official charity, which delivers a range of needs-led programmes to more than 7,000 people every year in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.

As part of the matchday activities, Bright Sparks, Bear In Mind, Spectrum, Strive ’25 and Eagle Project participants all got the opportunity to play on the pitch as almost 18,000 fans watched from the stands during half-time of the Gallagher PREM showdown.

More than 200 youngsters from 16 teams across the Bristol Combination also had the chance to run out at Ashton Gate earlier in the day, taking part in a junior rugby festival for the Foundation’s Club Connexion teams to kick off the Community Day fun.
