They may already be a real life prince and princess, but the children of Prince Harry and Meghan were excited to meet another version of royalty while on a recent family day out. In brand new photographs shared to Meghan’s instagram account, Lilibet and Archie can be seen exploring the magical world of Disneyland, just like the fun trips Prince Harry used to take with his mother, the late Princess Diana.
In the snaps, Prince Harry and Meghan can be seen walking hand in hand with their children around the park, and enjoying a boat ride as a family. In one of the photos, Princess Lilibet meets Disney Princess Aurora (also known as ‘Sleeping Beauty’), while a seemingly shy Archie hides behind a pillar and Meghan stands excitedly between her two children. Another shot shows Lilibet – wearing in a floral orange dress – giving Cinderella a big hug. Click through the post below to see the images:
When Prince Harry and his brother Prince William were younger, their mother, Princess Diana, made sure they had a chance to enjoy theme parks and fun days out just like other children. In one famous photo, the trio laugh together on a log flume ride at Thorpe Park. By taking his own children to Disneyland just like so many other families, it seems Prince Harry is recreating some of that same magic he experienced when he was growing up.

For the visit, Prince Harry stuck to a classic grey cap, but his wife and two children embraced the day by wearing Disney hats. Meghan opted for the iconic Minnie Mouse ears complete with a red and white polka dot bow while her daughter, Lilibet, chose a sparkling pink version for the day out.
Even grandmother Doria got in on the fun, with a pair of ears of her own. In the first image of the post she’s pictured receiving a kiss on the cheek from her daughter, while Archie and Lilibet play behind them with a gaggle of Mickey Mouse balloons. Sharing the post to her stories, Meghan added the song ‘Lovely Day’ by Bill Withers to sum up the time they’d spent together, and added a bonus clip of herself and Doria excitedly meeting Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
While Prince Harry and Meghan are private around their children’s identities and never show their faces on camera, they do still share snippets of their family life together. The only exception has been to mark Archie’s seventh birthday last week, where they revealed a photograph of his face as a newborn. In the photo, Prince Harry can be seen relaxing with his baby son sleeping on his chest, covered with a blanket.
Like other members of the Royal Family including the Prince and Princess of Wales and the King and Queen, the Prince Harry and Meghan shared a portrait to mark the festive season. Last December, this featured the couple standing on a bridge in the sunshine with their two children and the caption, ‘Happy holidays! From our family to yours.’
