The Spring Marathon event brings two new Pokémon and a new costume Pikachu to Pokémon Go. While you’re hunting down Flittle and Espartha (picked, I’m assuming, because ostriches are the fastest two legged-bird), make time for completing the Spring Marathon Timed Research too! After all, you wouldn’t want to miss out on some useful rewards.

Event End Time: Monday 18th May at 8pm (local time)

There’s a lot to do in Pokémon Go outside of the current event! From the Go Battle League, Remote Trading, PokéStop Showcase, Routes and Max Battles. Don’t forget to catch rare Pokémon while you’re at it.

Flittle and Espathra debuts in Pokémon Go

Flittle and Espathra have debuted in Pokémon Go! Both of these Pokémon are Psychic-types and, as part of Gen 9, hail from the Paldea region. They’re also inspired by ostriches (well, to be more accurate, Flittle is inspired by ostrich eggs). Knowing how to get Flittle will help you add both of these Pokémon to your Pokémon Go Pokédex.
