St Albans Cathedral has announced the arrival of four peregrine falcon chicks after eggs were destroyed last year.
Three of the chicks hatched on Saturday (9 May) with the fourth arriving the following Monday.
“The newest chick is noticeably smaller than its older siblings already, and will have some catching up to do… All four chicks are being well fed by their busy parents,” the cathedral wrote on social media.
The CPS previously announced that no further action would be taken after three eggs were destroyed in the nest in 2025.
