SHEFFIELD Speedway will proudly welcome and support men’s suicide prevention charity ANDYSMANCLUB at this Thursday’s (May 14, 7.30pm) home fixture against Northampton.

It coincides with Mental Health Awareness week and representatives will be on hand to talk to supporters and give further details of local talking groups.

ANDYSMANCLUB is a men’s suicide prevention charity that provides free, non-judgemental talking groups for men across the United Kingdom.

Founded in 2016, the organisation was created with one simple but powerful message: “It’s Okay To Talk.”

Since then, it has grown rapidly, offering support to thousands of men who may be struggling with mental health challenges, isolation, anxiety, depression, or difficult life circumstances.

The work carried out by ANDYSMANCLUB is vital in helping to break down the stigma that still surrounds men’s mental health. Many men feel pressure to remain silent about their emotions or avoid asking for help, often leading to feelings of loneliness and hopelessness.

Through weekly peer-to-peer support sessions, the charity creates a safe and welcoming environment where men can openly discuss their experiences without fear of judgement.

What makes ANDYSMANCLUB particularly impactful is its accessibility and community spirit.

Groups are free to attend, no referral is needed, and every man is welcomed equally regardless of background or circumstance.

The organisation is driven by volunteers who are passionate about supporting others and encouraging open conversations around mental wellbeing.

By simply providing a space to talk and listen, the charity has helped countless men realise they are not alone.

Beyond its weekly sessions, ANDYSMANCLUB also raises awareness through partnerships, fundraising events, sports communities, and local initiatives.

Its presence within grassroots sport and motorsport environments is especially important, as these settings reach large numbers of men who may otherwise never seek support.

By bringing mental health conversations into everyday spaces, the charity continues to challenge outdated attitudes and encourage positive change.

The impact of ANDYSMANCLUB extends far beyond the meetings themselves.

It offers hope, friendship, understanding, and a sense of belonging to many people who need it most.

Through compassion, conversation, and community support, the organisation continues to make a genuine difference in the lives of men and families across the country.
