Pat Cummins fined Rs 12 lakh after horror loss against GT (Image: X) Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins has been fined Rs 12 lakh for maintaining a slow over rate during SRH’s IPL 2026 clash against Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.The IPL confirmed the penalty in an official statement after SRH’s crushing 82-run defeat on Tuesday night.“As this was his team’s first offence of the season under Article 2.22 of the IPL’s Code of Conduct, which pertains to minimum over-rate offences, Cummins was fined INR 12 lakhs,” the statement read.The fine came on a disappointing evening for Hyderabad, who were completely outplayed by Gujarat Titans in a one-sided contest. GT produced a clinical all-round performance to move to the top of the IPL 2026 points table.
