Liverpool links to Jarrod Bowen today are interesting, aren’t they?
The Reds assessed the merits of the West Ham United forward about five years ago before it ultimately came to nothing.
Now though, at the age of 29, the England forward would be an ideal squad player for the Reds for next season I feel.
He would add strength in depth and quality and would be a perfect solution to replace Federico Chiesa if, as is expected, the Italian heads home.
Bowen wouldn’t have to be the ‘Mo Salah replacement’ as such but if Liverpool can get him at a bit of a knock-down price, should West Ham lose their status as a Premier League club then, I feel this could be a really smart move.
What would sporting director Richard Hughes call it? Opportunistic.
