A man is due to go on trial accused of attempted murder after a gun was fired at a car in Bristol.
William Scammell, 24, from the Speedwell area of the city, appeared at Bristol Crown Court via video link earlier. He did not enter pleas for charges of attempted murder and possession of a shortened shotgun.
The charges relate to an incident where a gun was fired at a car in Speedwell Road at about 13:47 BST on 1 April. Avon and Somerset Police previously said a man in his 20s sustained serious injuries in the incident.
A provisional trial date for Scammell has been listed for 5 October.
