Liverpool City Council has confirmed dates for one of its celebrated markets returning this month. Allerton Hall Farmers and Craft Market takes place next to Clarke Gardens, outside the Allerton Hall pub.
The market will be running on Saturday May 30 and Saturday August 29, from 11am to 4pm. Around 25 traders will be outside the Allerton Hall Pub selling plants, gluten-free products, bakery, artworks, pet products and more.
Allerton Hall Market is one of Liverpool’s many regular arts and farmers markets; others take place at Lark Lane and in Woolton Village.
The market’s return follows two appearances in 2025. In May 2025 the market celebrated its tenth appearance at the gardens.
A second Allerton Hall Market held was held later in the year, on August 30 2025.
Cllr Harry Doyle, Cabinet Member for Culture, Health and Wellbeing, said at the time: “The continued success of our markets shows that Liverpool loves shopping locally. It’s great for local businesses, great for the environment and great for the shoppers who get to browse fantastic produce in a wonderful atmosphere.
“The fact that this is the tenth time the market will be held is a tribute to the commitment of the traders and ward councillor Kimberley Berry as well as the council’s markets team, and, of course, the customers who make the markets the special places that they are.”
Liverpool Council’s website says: “Allerton Hall has a full range of handmade craft and artisan products alongside favourites such as cheese, plants, chocolate and bakery lines. This bi-monthly market is located next to the picturesque Clarke Gardens.”

A pop-up market is also set to return to Liverpool this weekend. The Sefton Park Palm House is this weekend, showcasing a wide range of artists, makers, designers and food traders from across the North West and beyond.

Pop-Up in the Palm House is a twice-yearly event celebrating independent traders, including those from Liverpool. Visitors are able to browse and buy everything from artwork and jewellery to leather crafts and organic preserves. There will also be a selection of food and seasonal drinks available to buy.
The market will make its first appearance of the year from Friday, May 15 to Sunday, May 17, running inside the iconic Sefton Park venue. Entertainment will also be provided, with live music performances taking place throughout the weekend.
Other farmers market dates have been confirmed including for Lark Lane Market and Woolton Village Market.
Lark Lane Market will next be held on Saturday May 23, 9am to 2pm.
