The global music icon, a lifelong and passionate Celtic supporter, was in the directors’ box for the Hoops’ nail-biting 3-2 victory over Motherwell, which kept their title dream alive.
He was joined for dinner by broadcaster and friend Tam Cowan, with Da Claudio sharing a picture of the pair alongside staff, writing: “Delighted to welcome back @sirrodstewart and @therealtamcowan tonight! Thank you for dining with us and for having the patience to take a million photos.”

Rod, who grew up in London to a Scottish family, has been a lifelong Celtic supporter and is one of the most recognisable faces at Parkhead, regularly attending big games and living every moment among the support.
He has previously said of his love for the club: “I’ve supported Celtic all my life. It’s in my blood.”
The rock star’s appearance at Fir Park came on a night Celtic could barely have scripted, with Kelechi Iheanacho’s stoppage-time penalty sealing a comeback win that sets up a straight shoot-out with Hearts on the final day of the season.
