Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to following an alleged sexual assault at a TK Maxx store. Greater Manchester Police says it received reports of an incident at the store on Manchester Fort, in Cheetham Hill, at around 4.33pm on Saturday (May 9).
A man reportedly entered the store, before a lone woman entered shortly after. GMP says that as the woman made her way to the homeware section, it’s understood the man began to follow her close by, and down other aisles in the shop.
The man then reportedly engaged in sexually inappropriate behaviour and sexually assaulted the woman. As she called for security, the man immediately exited the store, GMP says.

Officers are urging both the woman involved and the man pictured in the CCTV image to come forward. A force spokesperson said: “We would like to appeal to the woman to come forward.
“We would also like to speak to this man as we believe he may be able to assist with enquiries. He is described as a black male, wearing a black headscarf, headphones, a light brown jacket with black check pattern, light blue jeans, and black trainers.”
