A man who was stabbed in a park in Bristol remains in hospital days after the attack took place.
At around 11.30pm on Thursday (May 8), officers were called to Newtown Park, near Hassell Drive in the St Philips area of the city, by the ambulance service.
A man in his 20s was found with knife wounds.
The victim said he was attacked by multiple males who fled the scene on bikes.
Avon and Somerset Police said the victim remains in hospital at this current time.
The police force said on Friday that the victim suffered potential life-changing injuries.
It is unclear if the injuries are life-changing.
Two 19-year-old men and a 16-year-old boy were arrested at around 9.40pm the following day (Friday).
A police spokesperson said on Monday they have since been released on conditional police bail while enquiries continue.
Avon and Somerset Police said: “The three arrested people have been released on conditional police bail while enquiries continue. The victim remains in hospital.”
The incident had resulted in a police cordon being set up near the entrance to the Bristol and Bath Railway Path.
Police forensics were at the scene, alongside a number of officers who guarded the area.
The investigation into the attack continues and detectives will be carrying out further enquiries.
Officers are still asking for information from anyone who may be able to help.
