An ITV This Morning personality found themselves questioned about speculation linking them to Strictly Come Dancing.
The beloved BBC ballroom show is set to return to television screens later this year, with professional dancers including Amy Dowden and Dianne Buswell confirmed to be back, following the departure of several performers such as Gorka Marquez and Michelle Tsiakkas.
The judging panel of Anton Du Beke, Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel Horwood and Shirley Ballas will also be returning, although the broadcaster is yet to reveal who will replace Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly as presenters.
The iconic duo announced their departure last year, with the Christmas special marking their final appearance as hosts.
While speculation has been rife regarding potential successors, no official announcement has been made, though insiders suggest Emma Willis and comedian Josh Widdicombe are frontrunners for the presenting roles, reports the Mirror.

This follows Zoe Ball revealing she “grieved” after being overlooked for the position, while other contenders reportedly included This Morning personalities Rylan Clark and Alison Hammond.
Now, fellow ITV presenter Josie has been questioned about potentially competing on Strictly during a guest spot on James Martin’s Saturday Morning.
Presenter James began: “I’ve heard a little rumour that you might be doing something that I used to do 21 years ago, you can’t announce it yet.”
“No,” Josie quickly replied, as James went on: “Tell me about this other show you’re doing, the other bit we can’t say anything about.”

Josie said: “I think I’ve been April Fools’d here! I’ve had nobody contact me! I think the press April Fools’d me!”
“I think you might get the job to do it,” James replied, as Josie said: “I’m not very good at dancing to somebody else’s beat, that’s the problem.”
“I wasn’t very good at it as well, but anyway!” he said, before swiftly moving on. James competed in the third series of Strictly in 2005, with pro dancer Camilla Dallerup, and the pair made it to the semi-finals, finishing in fourth place.
While the BBC has yet to announce the line-up for this series of Strictly, following Karen Carney’s win last year, sources claimed earlier this year that Josie was being “lined up”.

Former I’m A Celebrity star Josie teased she “loves a dance” earlier this year after the rumours first emerged.
During an appearance on This Morning with Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, she echoed her comments about an April Fools’ Day prank, but confessed she was “excited” after reading the claims.
Cat quipped to Ben: “You always put pressure on about Strictly, always!”

“It’s an exciting show,” Ben responded. “It’s going to be the first one, the new host as well. We don’t know who they’re going to be. So a good one to be a part of, Jose?”
“And good for the weight loss,” Josie answered. “But the only thing is, I’m not great at dancing to somebody else’s music.”
“Don’t worry about that, Jose,” Ben reassured her. “Don’t let that get in the way.”
She continued by saying “I love a dance”, prompting Ben to declare: “There you go! She loves a dance.”
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One and iPlayer later this year.
