PARAMUS, N.J. — Coach USA unveiled a new “Freedom Bus” on Thursday to commemorate the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary, using the vehicle to transport officials, students and dignitaries during an America 250 celebration in Philadelphia.
The bus carried U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, fourth-grade students from School Within a School at Goding in Washington, teachers, and government officials.

The students arrived in Philadelphia aboard a special Amtrak train from Washington, then boarded the commemorative bus at 30th Street Station. Participants were first taken to Carpenters’ Hall, where they joined Duffy and Philadelphia officials in a reenactment of the signing of the Declaration of Independence featuring a portrayal of Benjamin Franklin.
The group later visited the Liberty Bell, and passengers received commemorative tickets marking the occasion.
