Perry Barr’s One Stop Shopping Centre, just three miles from Birmingham city centre, has launched the competition in partnership with commercialisation partner Flourish.
It’s open to one business owner, who will win a two-month pop-up shop within the One Stop Market.
The winner will also receive tailored business and marketing support, plus promotional activities to help raise awareness of their brand.
A spokesperson for One Stop Shopping Centre said: “We’re proud to support local businesses and give them a platform to grow in our market space.
“This is a great opportunity for someone to take that next step and bring their business to life in a busy retail environment and we can’t wait to see the entries coming in.”
Callum Clifford, regional manager at Flourish, said: “We are focused on creating accessible opportunities for local emerging businesses to engage with new audiences and scale their operations.”
Applicants must submit a short video explaining their business and why they would benefit from the opportunity.
Entries close on May 24 .
