Anyone interested will welcome people who visit the High Street attraction on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Volunteers are on duty from 10.15am to 1.15pm, and/or 1.15-4pm, from April to September, which can be undertaken weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
The museum, which is run entirely by volunteers, opened its doors to the public in 2011.
In addition to static displays, themed exhibitions of interest are mounted annually.
Volunteers can also contribute their ideas for future exhibitions and displays.
