Construction consultancy Pulse Consult has strengthened its Birmingham leadership team with the promotion of Jason Fretter to director and the appointment of Kristen Chadband as associate director.
Based at the firm’s Birmingham office, Jason brings more than 35 years’ experience across sectors including education, healthcare, commercial and heritage projects, and will focus on developing the company’s regional delivery team.
He said: “Stepping into the director role in Birmingham is an exciting opportunity to build on the strong foundations we already have.
“My focus is on creating a delivery team that’s not just high performing, but adaptable and innovative, while positioning Pulse to take on some of the region’s most prestigious and challenging projects.
“Bringing Kristen on board adds a wealth of experience and fresh perspective, helping us push our capabilities further.
“For me, it’s about more than just growing the team – it’s about shaping a culture where expertise, collaboration and client impact go hand in hand.”
Kristen joins with more than a decade of project management experience across both the public and private sectors, supporting the consultancy’s continued growth in the Midlands.
Their appointments follow a series of senior promotions across Pulse’s wider UK operations, including leadership changes in London and Nottingham.
Ian Carey, managing director at Pulse, added: “The growth of our Birmingham office reflects the talent and expertise we are building at Pulse.
“With Jason stepping into the director role and driving the team’s development, and Kristen joining with his extensive experience, we are strengthening our capabilities and positioning ourselves to take on more high-profile projects.
“It’s an exciting time for the business, and we’re proud of the progress being made.”
