I might not know much about F1, but as the Cut’s senior shopping editor, I do know a thing or two about fashion. So when Puma and Scuderia Ferrari HP took over the Miami Grand Prix and launched the first-ever White Miami Limited Edition Collection, I had to be there to see it with my own two eyes. (Of course, it helped that the F1 drivers, Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, were the models and deputed the pieces during race week. You bet I was looking).

The exclusive collection consisted of a Ferrari Replica jersey, a Ferrari Replica Hamilton BB cap, and the Ferrari Replica Leclerc LC cap, all in a crisp and stylish white colorway instead of the intense shade of red the sports-car manufacturer is known for. The one item I was most excited about, though? The Scuderia Ferrari Speedcat Miami.

It’s no secret that sneakers are getting skinnier. We’ve seen it with Adidas’s latest Taekwondo sneakers and even Louis Vuitton’s sneakerinas. However, Puma’s Speedcats might be the O.G.s

If you are on the hunt for a great pair of white sneakers and love cars, then you need them. They have the trendy, slim Speedcat silhouette but are made with leather instead of suede, so you won’t find yourself Googling, “How to clean suede sneakers?” after a few uses. Plus, despite them being incredibly close to the ground, the sole has enough padding to provide much-needed comfort. Fun fact: The sneakers also come with a collectible postcard.

However, if you already own a pair of trusty white sneakers, you can skip. We do recommend considering any of the other Puma Scuderia merch, specifically the jackets. Our writer Chinea Rodriguez shared that they are one of the styles we are into wearing this spring.

If you don’t want to listen to us when it comes to what merch to purchase, then listen to the Ferrari drivers themselves. After I asked both Leclerc and Hamilton which piece of the White Miami Limited Edition collection was their favorite, they replied with the tee. The white one is out of stock, but the red one is not. Do with that information what you will.

Despite the ongoing hype around Speedcats, we’re happy to report that all of the 13 colorways, including the White Miami limited-edition ones, are in stock. You can find yours on puma.com. And while you can also score the Speedcats through retailers like Urban Outfitters, Free People, and ASOS, the Scuderia Ferrari Speedcat Miami is only available on the Puma site and retails for $110.

Most of the comments regarding the collection are thirst traps for the drivers (understandable). What are the F1 drivers saying, then? Well, when asked about how they feel about switching the colors up, Leclerc liked the idea of having the away shirt like they do in football, while Lewis, coming from Mercedes, is no stranger to wearing white. The 2025 Met Gala chairman, though, likes that he can mix things up with his current red rotation.
