Hull FC prop Yusuf Aydin will miss Hull FC’s next six games after being hit with a huge ban by the Match Review Panel.

It’s been a busy week for the disciplinary panel with 22 charges being handed out to 21 individuals and four men being banned. However, FC prop Aydin has picked up the most severe punishment.

The forward was sent off on Sunday against Bradford Bulls for throwing Caleb Aekins to the ground and he has been handed a Grade F charge for a dangerous throw or lift.

That charge comes with 35 disciplinary points and ensures he has been handed a six match ban by the MRP.

As such, the forward will miss a huge chunk of FC’s summer as they look to finally build some form and traction in the Super League table.

Lachie Miller also looks set to miss a big chunk of the season after being handed a three game ban for touching an injured player on the floor. The Rhinos can appeal it, but a precedent has been set there with Wigan Warriors’ Harry Smith being handed a similar charge earlier in the season.

Taane Milne has been given a one match ban for striking during Huddersfield Giants’ loss to St Helens on Thursday, while Castleford Tigers’ George Hirst has been hit with a two game suspension for Grade D head contact.

Mikey Lewis has been sanctioned for tripping for the second time this season and he needs to be careful of his conduct going forward if he is to avoid a ban. Peta Hiku has also been hit with a Grade A late contact charged.
