Fans of Emmerdale think they know which character will bring down Dr Todd.
The villain is continuing to blackmail Charity Dingle, turning nasty and demanding money over her baby secret. She’s also terrorised Jacob Sugden and now she’s getting her claws into Vanessa Woodfield.
But fans think a comeuppance is on the way and that it will be delivered by a returning character. Sadie King is hotly tipped by fans to destroy Todd, with some fans suspecting she may share history with the sinister doctor.
Taking to social media, fans repeated that Sadie’s comeback to the show later this year will tie in with Todd’s plot, and she could be the one to trigger her much needed downfall. Speculating about who would be behind Todd’s comeuppance, a fan suggested: “Sadie King.”

Another said: “I’ve just read it’s Sadie King she’s coming back they’ve got history.” Another agreed: “Sadie King!!” with other fans also naming Sadie as the person they want to see bring Dr Todd down for once and for all.
It follows the news of Sadie’s return after 20 years away. Emmerdale has confirmed that actress Patsy Kensit is reprising the role in explosive scenes, with Patsy also confirming the news.
Patsy said of her comeback: “I am really excited to return to Emmerdale. I treasure the years I was here before. Sadie King is a character that I really loved playing.
“The cast and crew are absolutely brilliant and I am so grateful for the chance to return to the show, it’s absolutely amazing.” Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw said: “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Patsy Kensit back to the cast and crucially to see the iconic Sadie King storm back into the village.

Sadie’s seductive demeanour, combined with her utterly ruthless nature, are set to deliver a spectacular and highly dramatic touch of class to the Yorkshire Dales.” Unsurprisingly, fans were left buzzing over the news and flocked to social media to unpack Sadie’s return, questioning how Emmerdale locals would react.
“Brilliant news and she be working with Graham that’s obvious as Sadie wants home farm again,” one predicted. “And be good see the scene with Sadie and Cain as that still best episodes of Emmerdale with Cain Sadie in fake kidnapping and shooting. Jimmy Sadie aswell be good scenes [sic].”
