Nottingham Forest host Bournemouth in their final match of the season ahead of a crucial summer transfer window
Nottingham Forest winger Dan Ndoye
Nottingham Forest will be eager to sign off for the season in style and get one over bogey club Bournemouth this weekend.
The Reds secured Premier League survival with two games to spare so the pressure has been off for Vitor Pereira’s men in their final fixtures. But as they showed at Old Trafford last time out, they are not taking their foot off the gas.
A controversial 3-2 defeat at Manchester United marked the end of Forest’s eight-match unbeaten run in the league, but they fought until the end to try to get a result. It will be no different when they host the Cherries on Sunday (4pm kick-off) in the final match of the campaign.
For some players, it could prove to be their final outing in the Garibaldi. Head coach Pereira doesn’t want a major squad overhaul this summer, but there are still some members of the dressing room whose futures are uncertain…

Pereira has said Forest are keen to keep their prized asset. But if one of his admirers stumps up a big sum, that resolve will surely be tested.
Manchester City are leading the chase for the midfielder’s signature, although Manchester United and others are also interested. It is hardly surprising he is a wanted man as his quality is clear for all to see.
Dan Ndoye
The winger has been the subject of plenty of speculation in recent weeks after a challenging first year Trentside. He has been sidelined with injury recently, so it remains to be seen whether he gets on the pitch against Bournemouth.
Inter Milan and Roma have been credited with an interest in the Switzerland international. However, reports suggest Forest’s unwillingness to let Ndoye leave on loan – not to mention a €42 million (£36m) price tag – could prove to be a stumbling block.

Taiwo Awoniyi
Pereira has said only minor tweaks to the squad are necessary, but the Reds will surely consider their attacking options this summer. Lorenzo Lucca will return to parent club Napoli and there have been some whispers about Igor Jesus’ future. Meanwhile, Chris Wood has just 12 months remaining on his contract.
Everton, West Ham United, Besiktas and Mainz have been linked with Awoniyi. There is no question the striker has served the club well, but it wouldn’t come as too much of a surprise if he moves on.
Morato
Forest turned down a reported £17m deadline day bid for the defender during the winter window. The club’s focus at the time was on strengthening their squad and with that in mind an offer from Wolfsburg was said to have been rebuffed.
It might be a different story if a club comes calling this summer. The Reds are being linked with a number of defenders, while Jair Cunha has arguably moved ahead of Morato in the pecking order.
