A suspect has been arrested by police after a young man was stabbed in Castle Park in Bristol on Saturday, May 10.
Officers were called at 6.54pm and found an injured man in Union Street.
The man, in his 20s, was taken to hospital with a knife wound that was not believed to be life-threatening.
He has since been discharged and is recovering at home.
A man, in his 20s, was arrested by Avon and Somerset Police yesterday, Sunday, May 11, during the investigation.
He has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent, possession of a bladed article in a public place and possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.
A police cordon was in place around Castle Park and the at the top of Union Street.
Another man, who had previously been arrested on Saturday, has been released with no further action.
Neighbourhood Inspector Adam Dolling said: “This was a shocking incident and we will not tolerate knife crime in our communities.
“Extra police patrols will be in place across the area over the coming days as we continue to work to identify those responsible.
“Our investigation is continuing and has so far led to the arrest of one man who remains in police custody.

The incident in Castle Park follows another incident of knife crime in Newtown Park, St Philips.
