I’ve been playing PlayStation for practically my entire life, and I’ve been earning Trophies on the PSN since they were added to Super Stardust HD back in 2008.
I don’t mean to make anyone here feel ancient, but that’s over 18 years, folks. My first Trophy is old enough to vote!
I’ve been having a lot of fun with this Panax app, then, which has gone viral on social media this week.
Essentially, it works just like third-party websites such as PSNProfiles, where you input your username and it pulls in the play data from your profile.
Don’t worry, I know we’re all a bit iffy about security right now, but you only need to input your username – there are no passwords or accounts here.
The website then processes a reel of your entire PlayStation gaming history, dating back to the first game you played with Trophies.
So I can clearly see from scrolling through my gaming memories that I got my first Platinum in Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and have played over 2,213 games since.
I assume the total playtime excludes PS3 because that wasn’t something Sony shared publicly during that generation, but an approximate 15,470 hours is a fair amount for my modern gaming career, I think – that’s roughly 644 days.
Obviously, this kind of style isn’t the best for usability, and if you want a more conventional Trophy tracker, I’d still recommend PSNProfiles over it.
But it does look cool, and it’s a fun trip through memory lane if you fancy entering your username and spending a few minutes scrolling through.
