Police have identified the body of a woman found dead in Cornish woodland.
The body was found at around 7.45am on Sunday, May 3, in the Pendarves Woods area of Camborne.
On Thursday, May 21, Devon and Cornwall Police issued an e-fit in an attempt to identify the mystery woman.
Today they confirmed that she has now been identified and her next of kin informed.
Her death is being treated as ‘unexplained’ but is not believed to be suspicious.

Officers said a file was being prepared for the coroner.
Following some public speculation, the force previously spoke out to clarify that the discovery was not related to the ongoing search for a woman who went missing locally.
A spokeswoman said: “Police can confirm that the individual located deceased in the woods is not linked to the current missing person enquiry we have ongoing into missing Holly Collinson.”
In a statement made today, Devon and Cornwall Police said: “Police have identified the body of a woman found in the Camborne area earlier this month.
“It follows an appeal issued on Thursday 21 May, after a body was found in the Pendarves Woods area of Camborne.
“The woman’s next of kin have been identified and informed.
“Her death is being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious at this time and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
“We would like to thank members of the public for their help in this matter.”
