Tributes have been paid to a much-loved daughter, sister and friend who ‘brought warmth to everyone.’
West Midlands Police named Paramjit Kaur as the 46-year-old woman who died an an address on Swan Crescent, in Oldbury, yesterday morning, Monday, March 31.
The force said 50-year-old Harminder Mattu had been charged with her murder.

Paying tribute, Paramjit’s family said: ” On March 31st, we were deeply saddened by the heart breaking news of Paramjit Kaur (Soni)’s passing.
“A kind, hardworking and dearly loved daughter, sister, and friend, she brought warmth to everyone around her.

“Her loss leaves us in profound sorrow, but her memory will forever live in our hearts.”
In a statement, police said: “We’ve charged a man with murder after a woman was found dead at an address in Oldbury.
“We discovered a woman with serious injuries at an address in Swan Crescent at around 8.20am yesterday (Monday).
“Sadly she was confirmed dead at the scene and our thoughts are with her loved ones at this devastating time. Today, she was named as Paramjit Kaur, aged 46.
“Harminder Mattu has been charged with murder. The 50-year-old has been remanded in custody to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court tomorrow (Wednesday, April 2).”
Police said that officers will be carrying out additional patrols in the area to reassure and support the local community over the coming days.
