The Maesteg man is due to appear in court

A man has been charged with affray, following reports from concerned members of the public

  • South Wales Police have confirmed that a man has been charged with affray following an incident which happened in the Garth area of Maesteg.
  • The incident occurred at approximately 6.30am on Friday, May 22.
  • Officers stated that Nathan David, 35, of Maesteg, will appear before Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on Monday, May 25.
  • The arrest came after multiple reports from concerned members of the public.
  • Local Policing Sergeant Dai Barry, said: “This incident did cause considerable concern within the local community.”I’d like to thank them for their support and assistance as we responded to the incident.”
