Based on last month’s C&D clash there is very little between SOLENT GATEWAY and Celestial Reign but, judged on their overall records, Donald McCain’s 7yo looks the better horse and is given the verdict. Consistent course regular Vanilla Dancer is also likely to play a significant role.
Conquer The Breeze posted a good effort over C&D last month but free-going front-runner DELPOTRO has the services of Sean Bowen today and might be able to open his account in Britain. Clean Getaway and Fearless Action also have possibilities.
Thriving 5yo FEACH AMACH drops in grade after winning in 0-120 company at Perth three weeks ago and, with this C&D also suitable, she can complete her hat-trick. Lillistar was 16l adrift of the selection when second here last month but has a hefty pull in the weights today and is second choice. Janworth has fitness to prove but is interesting if judged on the first of her two handicap runs last spring.
