Castle Bromwich could be getting a new pizza takeaway.

Applicant Palisade Properties Ltd has submitted the plan to Solihull Council to turn a retail unit in a row of shops into the new restaurant.

And neighbours have now been given the chance to have their say on the proposal for the unit in Rudgeway House in Hurst Lane North.

A design and access statement included in the application, written by planning agents Architecture & Interior Design Ltd, says: “The proposal is for change of use from a Class use E to Sui Generis.

“It will be going from a retail shop to a restaurant.

“Architecturally the façade and shop front will stay the same, the internal changes that will be made are to make sure the new proposal is functional and aesthetically pleasing.

“There will be three full time staff present on site at all times. One part time staff will be employed.

“The proposal will create a more welcoming space for the local community as it will bring in a fresh design architecturally and also a new pizza restaurant that will provide a high quality food.”
