Police have recovered the body of a teenage girl from Kingsbury Water Park in Warwickshire. Officers were called to Bodymoor Heath Lane just after 6pm this evening (May 25).
Concerns had been raised for a teenage girl in the water as emergency services responded. Searches were conducted across Kingsbury Water Park, where a body was discovered at around 7.20pm.
Paramedics battled to save the girl, but she was tragically pronounced dead. Her family have been informed.

Investigations into the death are ongoing. Officers will be patrolling Kingsbury Water Park in the coming days and have urged people to avoid speculation about what has happened.
A spokesman for Atherstone and Coleshill Police said: “We can confirm that, sadly, the body of a teenage girl was recovered from the water shortly after 7.20pm. Despite the efforts of emergency services, she was pronounced deceased at the scene.
“Her next of kin has been informed, and they are being supported by specially trained officers. Over the coming days, we will have officers in the area providing reassurance, so if you have any questions, please speak to them.
“An investigation into the circumstances has begun, and we would ask people to avoid speculation about what has happened. Our thoughts remain with her family and friends during this difficult time.”
