No trams will be running between Market Street and St Peter’s Square and Piccadilly Station next work, according to the Bee Network.
The transport body said that the closures will be in place between Monday May 25th and Friday May 29th while improvement works take place, as the Piccadilly Gardens shop will be shut.
It means that services heading to Ashton-under-Lyne will start from Piccadilly, East Didsbury services will start from Exchange Square, and Eccles services will terminate from Deansgate-Castlefield.

A free bus will be in operation between Victoria Station and Piccadilly Station. Service is set to restart on Saturday May 30.
It comes as the line between the city centre and Rochdale remains closed. The closure began on May 16 and will continue until May 29, with a replacement bus service in operation between Victoria and Rochdale town centre.
And the following week services will be suspended between Market Street and Shudehill, with the line closed between June 1 and June 9.
