Turley were crowned Corporate Tag Rugby Tournament 2026 champions as local businesses came together to raise £20,000 to support Bristol Bears Foundation.
An action-packed Finals day at Ashton Gate Stadium saw 12 teams battle it out for the trophy after coming through the two preliminary rounds at Lockleaze Sports Centre.
Bishop Fleming, Morgan Lovell, Ridge, Thrings, RSM, Workman, Stantec/Red, Good Energy, Turley, Turner and Townsend, Silverback and Method swapped the office for the rugby pitch as they contested the finale to the Foundation’s Celebration of Sport day.
The Finals started with a fast and frantic round-robin stage before the closely-fought knockout matches concluded with Turley overcoming Stantec/Red in an enthralling silverware showpiece to emerge victorious at the home of the Bristol Bears.
Supported by Morgan Lovell, the annual event raised £20,000 across this year’s tournament, with all the proceeds supporting the Foundation’s women and girls programmes to help provide safe spaces and more opportunities for women and girls to get involved in rugby across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
Laura Jones, Fundraising Executive at Bristol Bears Foundation, said: “It’s fantastic to see so many businesses come together again to support our vital work. The tournament continues to grow each year, and the enthusiasm, teamwork and generosity shown throughout the competition have been outstanding. The money raised will make a real difference to our programmes supporting young women and girls across the region.”

After the conclusion of the Finals at Ashton Gate, all the participating teams enjoyed complimentary food, drinks and the chance to network.
Sulli Gardner, Business Development Manager at Morgan Lovell, said: “We love being involved every year and seeing all the businesses competing on the hallowed turf at Ashton Gate for the trophy. We have raised £20,000 for the Foundation which is amazing and seeing four or five new teams enter, including the club sponsor Good Energy, is great as this event wouldn’t be what it is without all the support of the local businesses so thank you to everyone who entered this year.
“Social value for us at Morgan Lovell is really important, it runs through our DNA, and we care about giving back to our communities. This is a great example of that and we’re proud to be associated with the vital work of the Bristol Bears Foundation.”
The Foundation delivers a wide range of programmes focused on improving physical and mental wellbeing, increasing participation in sport, enhancing employability skills and creating more inclusive opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds.
Jamie Skinner, Bristol Bears Foundation CEO, added: “Corporate Tag is a brilliant example of the power of sport to bring people together and create lasting impact within our communities. We’re incredibly grateful to every business, player, sponsor and volunteer who contributed to this year’s event. The funds raised will help us continue delivering programmes that inspire, support and empower young women and girls.”
