Amazfit has given the T-Rex Ultra 2 a titanium casing. With a case diameter of 51 millimetres and a height of almost 15 millimetres, the smartwatch is quite bulky. This impression is further reinforced by the angular design.
The rubber strap is 26 millimetres wide to match. It can be changed without tools, but the strap connection is proprietary. The 1.5-inch AMOLED display is topped and protected by the titanium frame.
A special feature is the LED flashlight built into the frame with various brightness levels, which is very useful. NFC for wireless payment is on board, but the T-Rex Ultra 2 does not support mobile communications.
There are four large buttons in the casing. These are easy to reach, but sit with play in the housing. There is also a speaker, microphones and a depth sensor. According to the manufacturer, the smartwatch can dive to depths of up to 45 meters.
At 93 grams including the strap and 69 grams without the strap, the smartwatch is surprisingly light for its size.
