A new pub and diner in the West End of Glasgow will open its doors this month.
Thunderdog, which comes from the team behind Thundercat in Merchant City and Buck’s Bar, will launch on Byres Road.

Hailed as the team’s largest venue to date – with 160 covers inside and 40 outside -Thunderdog’s menu will feature Thundercat favourites like Chicago-style deep dish pizza, smash burgers, Shakes and Fried Pickles.
Meanwhile, unique to ThunderDog, the new spot will also serve buttermilk fried chicken dogs in a steamed brioche bun with flavours and sauces inspired by Buck’s Bar’s chicken burger menu.

Thunderdog says it is determined to keep prices ‘easy on the pocket’, with drinks deals from £3 available, as well as pints from £4.50 and mains from £8.50.
The venue has a late license and will be open until 1am with DJ’s spinning classic funk and disco Thursday to Sunday.
Taking to Instagram, the venue announced today that signage for the new spot was officially up.
People already seem to be buzzing about the opening of the new spot.
One person said: “Can’t wait to visit! Buttermilk fried chicken dogs sound incredible.”
