Fans of glitterball glamour are in for a treat as Strictly Come Dancing stars Amy Dowden and Carlos Gu prepare to bring their acclaimed live show Reborn to two Kent venues.
After performing to packed houses last year, including Bromley’s Churchill Theatre, the pair are returning to the stage with a production that celebrates resilience, transformation and the joy of dance.

The show carries special meaning for both performers.
Amy’s return to touring follows her courageous battle with breast cancer, while Carlos says his move to the UK sparked a journey of self-discovery that changed his life.
Audiences can expect dazzling choreography, emotional storytelling and spectacular routines performed alongside a cast of world-class dancers and vocalists.
From high-energy Latin numbers to moving contemporary pieces, Reborn promises an uplifting evening packed with passion and inspiration.
Amy, one of Strictly’s most adored professionals since joining the BBC series in 2017, has built a remarkable career both on and off the dancefloor.

Alongside dance partner Ben Jones, she became one half of the first all-British duo in more than 30 years to win the British National Latin Dance Championships in 2016.
Strictly enthusiasts will remember her memorable run to the 2019 final with presenter Karim Zeroual, while her partnerships with stars including Tom Fletcher and JJ Chalmers have made her a firm fan favourite.
Away from the ballroom, Amy has also become a powerful advocate for health awareness and charity work.
Her documentaries on Crohn’s disease and cancer treatment received widespread praise, including a BAFTA Cymru award, while her campaigning work earned her an MBE in the King’s Birthday Honours in 2024.
Carlos, meanwhile, has become one of the breakout stars of Strictly since joining in 2022.
The duo will be coming to the Orchard West and Assembly Hall Theatre in Kent
A three-time Chinese National Champion and internationally recognised Latin dancer, he quickly captured audiences’ hearts with his charisma and electric performances.
His debut Strictly season saw him reach the final with singer Molly Rainford, while his partnership with Angela Scanlon delivered one of the competition’s standout Argentine Tangos at Blackpool in 2023.
Now, united by stories of perseverance and personal growth, Amy and Carlos are ready to share that journey with audiences in Kent.
Reborn is coming to the Orchard West in Dartford on Friday, May 29, before heading to the Assembly Hall Theatre in Tunbridge Wells on Sunday, June 7.
