Edinburgh residents looking for a ‘brtual challenge’ are in for a treat.

Tough Mudder is set to come to the city, bringing ‘epic obstacles and relentless terain’. The event is being held on June 7 at Hopetoun Estate in South Queensferry.

Described as the ‘ultimate test of strength, endurance and sheer willpower’, the event is ‘designed to break you down’. Participants can choose to do the 5K version or 15K – for those ‘ready to go the distance’.

Tough Mudder was founded in 2010, and hosts challenges in 10 countries with over six million people taking part.
