A man has been arrested following an alleged disturbance at a Leith pub.
Officers were called to The Vine Bar after an incident involving a large group of people on Great Junction Street at around 3.55pm on Monday June 1.
An eyewitness believed a wake was taking place at the bar at the time of the fracas.
Around a dozen officers and eight police vehicles were spotted outside of the popular bar.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.55pm on Monday, 1 June, 2026 police received a report of a disturbance involving a large group of people in the Great Junction Street area of Leith.
“Officers attended and one man has been arrested and enquiries are ongoing.”
