However, for those who are a fan of the more popular high tech brands, Argos is currently selling a range of watches for their “lowest price”. The Samsung Galaxy Watch7 is retailing at £214, while the Apple Watch Series 10 is currently selling for £299 – which is £100 cheaper than Apple is selling it for.

With over 1,000 Amazon shoppers buying the LODIMEKE Smartwatch in the past 30 days, this budget fitness tracker has proven to be a hit with customers, with some claiming that it “works better than expensive models”.

One delighted shopper said: “Good looking watch. Already download the VeryFit app. Can get social media stuff easily, check emails and the health options are too numerous to mention, also has alexa.

“Easy to use. Very comfortable to wear. Good value for money. Only had it a day so still discovering everything it can do, but so far very impressed!”

However, the smartwatch did receive some mixed reviews, as a three-star reviewer wrote: “Nice smart looking watch, comfortable to wear battery life very good. Only disappointment is it doesn’t count steps and activities very well. Which I monitor daily so not ideal for me.”
