Pimax continues to offer a variety of Virtual Reality headsets that appeal to all. Their line-up of headsets has today expanded with two new high-resolution headsets that feature Micro-OLED panels and SLAM-tracking. The new Dream Air series of headsets from Pimax is designed to provide comprehensive tracking and high-resolution displays

The Dream Air was originally announced back in December 2024 as the world’s smallest 8K resolution headset. They have worked with Sony to produce Micro-OLED panels, with 3840 x 3552 pixels per eye. In terms of tracking, they have partnered with Tobbi for eye-tracking (120Hz refresh), and users choose between SLAM or Lighthouse versions. Despite all the technical features, it weighs less than 180 grams and can be adjusted with the new self-adjusting softstrap. The Pimax Dream Air is available to pre-order today and is also part of Pimax’s ‘Return Shipping Assurance’.

What is brand new to be announced is the Dream Air SE, a new affordable headset with a focus on premium features. It still packs the Micro-OLED panels from the Dream Air, integrated audio, SLAM tracking, and hand-tracking. The Dream Air SE weighs than 150 grams. In terms of price, the Dream Air SE starts at $899 USD. You can learn more about the Pimax Dream Air SE on the product page.

The Dream Air and the Dream Air SE are both expected to ship in Q3 2025.
