There appears to be more of a feud between the Island Boys’ girlfriends than the brothers themselves as they gear up to fight tonight in Miami.

The controversial social media duo will fight each other tonight on the latest edition of Adin Ross’ celebrity boxing show Brand Risk Promotions. They have had to deal with accusations of fight-fixing, which they deny, as they insist they will put on an entertaining showcase when they step in the ring.

However, it seems that they are both only doing it out of an interest in being on the card, showing next to no fire between them during their pre-fight press conference. Instead, it was their girlfriends who got into it during the launch event.

Island Boys girlfriends dragged apart in press conference brawl

The Island Boys participated in a live-streamed press conference earlier this week to launch promotion for their fight. The bout will be streamed on Ross’ Kick channel, which is known to garner millions of viewers.

And while the siblings stayed respectful of one another and even shook hands during their face-off, their girlfriends were not as cordial. After Flyysoulja’s partner KaylaThayla mocked Kodiyakredd’s girlfriend Liv, the latter attacked with a slap from behind.

Luckily, security intervened as the girls continued to argue and Ross attempted to get the pair back on track. It is unclear what happened after they were both removed from the press conference but it seemed that the feud was still fresh at weigh-ins the following day.

Fans were surprised earlier this month when it was announced that the Island Boys brothers would be fighting each other after next to no build-up. They are both known for being poor fighters, with Kodiyakredd losing his debut by KO in front of UFC boss Dana White.

Redd was due to take some time out to further train, while Flyysoulja was set to take on Tik Tok sensation Charleston White. However, the pair couldn’t fight due to a medical issue with White, who is about to turn 55 tomorrow.

Instead, the siblings were asked to fight each other on this weekend’s card by the Hunter Campbell to Ross’ Dana White; Jordan Galen. Now, they are set to do battle in the co-main event of a show that also features Anderson Silva’s son Gabriel.
