The Island Boys Flyysoulja defeated his brother Kodiyakredd in their bizarre sibling clash on Friday night.

After years of controversies, the social media rap group’s arc ended in an outlandish celebrity boxing match which Adin Ross aired as the co-main event on his latest Brand Risk Promotions show. They faced accusations of ‘fight fixing’ but went full steam ahead over three rounds of two minutes.

The pair went hell-for-leather until both gassing out after one sibling tasted the canvas in the opening seconds. But when it came time for Flyysoulja, who was in the red corner, to be announced the winner it appeared that there was confusion over the name Kodiyakredd, who was in the blue corner.

Island Boys fight result incorrectly read in comical moment

Anyone who feared the Island Boys would show up for a pay cheque and just move around was gravely mistaken as the brothers went all in early. Flyysoulja, believed to be the better fighter of the two, floored his brother Kodiyakredd in the opening 20 seconds with a flurry of punches to excite the crowd.

However, it wasn’t officially scored as the siblings continued brawling and kicking at each other on the ground. Eventually they stood back up and continued to trade wild swings, with Flyysoulja landing the cleaner shots.

Ultimately, the pair both tired and struggled to land shots while being goaded on commentary by their prospective next opponent Charleston White. But when they did engage, it seemed as if Flyysoulja knew how to throw something resembling a straight punch.

Eventually, they went the three-round distance and ring announcer David Van Auken was tasked with giving the result. It was a split decision, but it seemed that Kodiyakredd being in the blue corner confused him and he announced the clear loser as having won.

However, the referee quickly raised the correct fighter’s hand, with Van Auken quickly and awkwardly laughing his way to a second, correct announcement. Kodiyakredd then claimed to have been unable to train due to having pancreatitis.

Redd is now 0-2, having lost his debut by knockout in front of UFC boss Dana White last month. He even won $10,000 for the executive who bet on his opponent with Ross during the show.

Island Boys star will fight Charleston White on next Brand Risk Promotions event

Following the final bell and the awkward moment as the winner was wrongly announced, Charleston White entered the ring. The hilarious influencer began mocking both men and picked a fight with Flyysoulja after the pair’s initially planned bout for Friday night fell through.

White turns 55 tomorrow, and struggled with his medicals in the state of Florida. But Ross is bringing Brand Risk on the road for the first time next month in Nashville, and expects the state of Tennessee to be more lenient with sanctioning.

There was a face-off between White and Flyysoulja where the pair went back-and-forth, with the bout pretty much scheduled for next month. It will be a busy card, with Ross also keen to put on a fight between Adam Saleh and Deen The Great.
