A warning has been issued to anyone who bottomless brunches in the UK – as a new newspaper study lays bare the best and worst. The Sun newspaper ranked some of the biggest bottomless brunches in the UK.

The list includes TGI Fridays, which is for £29.95 with a duration of two hours, including prosecco and a selection of other drinks. Food included includes one appetiser and fries, and it is available every day.

Turtle Bay costs from £40.80 and lasts two hours, featuring cocktails, prosecco, draft beers, alcohol-free cocktails and any dish from the brunch, lunch or small plate menu. It is available from Sunday to Friday, until 5pm, and on Saturday, until 3pm.

Las Iguanas costs £37.95 and is available for two hours, featuring cocktails, prosecco, beer, soft drinks, and one dish – for example burgers, burritos, curries – and is available every day until 3pm.

Slug and Lettuce costs from £33.95 and is two horus, featuring cocktails, prosecco, hard or soft or upgraded options, as well as one brunch dish, with the availability stretching from Sunday to Friday and Saturday too.

Slug and Lettuce was rated 4/5 by the Sun, Las Iguanas 4/5 and Turtle Bay 3/5, while TGI was rated 3.5 out of five.

Slug and Lettuce came out on top, with Megan’s rated bottom. Bottomless brunch remains a go-to for Birmingham drinkers and diners every weekend, whether you’re starting your lazy weekend off right, or curing Sunday’s inevitable hangover with some good old hair of the dog.

As the nation gets more and more food obsessed, the traditional full English has been upgraded, and in its place is the epic bottomless brunch.

In the West Midlands, as well as leading chains and restaurants, there are also independent eateries offering their own versions, like the Button Factory.
