Police are stepping up patrols after reports of anti-social behaviour on a busy Greater Manchester street.
Officers in Chadderton say people have raised concerns about ‘groups of vehicles’ gathering off Broadway late and night and early in the morning.
Police say loud music has been played and litter has been left behind.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “The Chadderton Central Neighbourhood Team is aware of concerns regarding groups of vehicles gathering in the Ancora car park area of Broadway during the late evening and early morning hours.
“Reports received indicate that individuals have been playing loud music, creating noise disturbance, and leaving litter behind after consuming food and refreshments. This behaviour has caused anti-social behaviour concerns for local residents and businesses.
“In response, officers from the Chadderton Neighbourhood Team will be conducting increased patrols in the area and providing a high-visibility police presence to help deter further nuisance behaviour and provide reassurance to the local community.
“We would encourage members of the public to continue reporting any incidents of anti-social behaviour, excessive noise, or other concerns via Greater Manchester Police using the appropriate reporting channels. Information provided by residents helps us identify patterns of behaviour and direct patrols to areas where they are most needed.
“We thank the community for their continued support and cooperation.”
