Shocking images showed the aftermath of an alleged break-in at a capital takeaway.
Hui, located on Roseburn Terrace, appeared to have windows on their entrance door smashed by thieves.
An adjacent business owner said they believed the cash register had been removed from the premises by thieves during the break-in and theft at the Chinese takeaway.

Officers have launched an investigation into the incident which took place overnight between Sunday May 18 and Monday 19.

Police Scotland said the received a report of the break-in at around 12.30pm on Monday.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.30pm on Monday, 19 May, 2025, officers received a report of a break-in and theft at a premises on Roseburn Terrace, Edinburgh.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
It is understood Hui have since repaired the damaged window.
