A Wirral couple have appeared in court charged with failing to comply with abatement notices over alleged noise from barking dogs.
Stephen and Layla McGuigan, of St David’s Road, Eastham, Wirral both appeared in Sefton Magistrates Court on May 22 charged with four offences each of the contravention or failure to comply with an abatement notice. The case was brought by barrister Kevin Slack on behalf of Wirral Borough Council.
Both defendants, represented by Megan Cox, are charged with four offences each. These are alleged to have taken place on April 16, April 24, as well as between April 21 and 23, and April 25 and 29. No pleas were entered in court.
The case was adjourned until November 20 at Wirral Magistrates Court for a full day hearing in front of a district judge.
