Suspects have been named after a schoolboy was allegedly attacked. Merseyside Police were called to Old Chester Road in Birkenhead at around 4.20pm on Friday, May 23.
It followed a report a 14-year-old boy was allegedly approached by a group. The males reportedly threw missiles at him and assaulted him before stealing his pedal bike.
Warren McHugh, 20, of Green Lawn, Rock Ferry and Denny McHugh, 19, of Palm Hill, Oxton, together with two boys aged 16, who cannot be named for legal reasons, have been charged with section 18 wounding and robbery.
They were remanded into custody to appear at Sefton adult remand court today, Monday, May 26. A further two boys aged 15 and 16 have been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
