Daily Star Chief Tipster Jason Heavey has singled out a handicap sprinter to score a third win of the year and has backed the in-form talent to have too much for the fieldSo Darn Hot runs in the 7.15 at Windsor and is Jason Heavey’s best bet of the day(Image: PA)
SO DARN HOT (7.15, nap) can scorch to victory in the Fitzdares Sprint Series Handicap over six furlongs at Windsor today.
Kevin Philippart De Foy’s three-year-old began the year with a pair of valuable all-weather handicap victories at Newcastle and Lingfield to prepare for the All-Weather Championships at Gosforth Park in April.
But despite having plenty in the tank, any hope of success there was trashed two furlongs out as he found more traffic than rush hour on the M25, and he finished down the field.
The son of Too Darn Hot bounced back with a fine third in a competitive Newmarket handicap behind Invictus Gold last month, and the top weight can now make the top step of the podium.
NEWFANGLED (8.45, nb) is having an excellent year, winning two out of five including a career-best effort over course and distance nine days ago.
In a competitive five-runner handicap, SILVER GUNN (7.45) should go close with Oisin Murphy in the saddle.

The six-year-old is an improving sort, who scored his first win at Worcester 10 days ago over two miles and he can improve further on his handicap debut over a longer trip.
GWENNIE MAY JEM (4,00) has been transformed as a chaser and a 10lb rise should be no hindrance.
